Green tea preparation is very simple and you need to follow some simple steps and your cup of green tea will be ready in no time.
Ways to prepare green tea for weight loss
Here are two ways with two variants of green tea (Leaves and bags)
Ingredients for green tea preparation (Leaves Variant)
- Water (1 cup)
- Green tea leaves (1 teaspoon)
- Honey (1 teaspoon)
- Mint leaves or tulsi leaves(3 or 4 leaves) or ginger based on your preference.
- Lemon (4 to 5 drops)
Method of green tea preparation
Take a small utensil to boil a cup of water. Warm water till it starts boiling. Once it is boiled enough, turn off your stove.
Tip: Never put green tea leaves in boiling water because it can lose its nutrients value.
Now take a teaspoon of green tea leaves and put into the utensil and cover it with a lid for 3 to 4 minutes.
Now pour it into a cup and add fresh mint or tulsi leaves into it. Add honey and lemon juice and mix well with a small spoon. Your fresh healthy green tea is ready to drink.

It’s, even more, easier preparing compared to leaves variant. It is on your choice wither you want to prepare with all fresh home ingredients below or put directly bags into warm water.
Let me show you how I prepare. The preparation of the green tea with the bag variant is very similar to the leaves variant. The only difference is you put bags instead of leaves into your cup

- Green tea bag(1 bag)
- Honey (1 teaspoon)
- Mint leaves or tulsi leaves(3 to 4 leaves) or ginger based on your preference.

Now pour it into a teacup and put a bag of your favorite green tea into it. Add fresh mint or tulsi leaves into it. Add honey and lemon juice and mix well with a small spoon.

As per the report, for the best effect, I started drinking green tea before the workout to increase metabolism and burn more fat effectively.
How much green tea should I drink?
How many times to drink green tea in a day? You can drink up to 3 to 4 cups of green tea in a day. I prefer drinking 2 cups, 1 cup before going to a brisk walk in the evening and one cup after lunch in the afternoon.

This is my personal review about the benefits of green tea drinking, green tea is beneficial in your weight loss as long as you’re eating in your calorie budget and working out properly.
It has a great role in your fat loss but you can not rely completely on it for your weight loss. You need to be very consistent and disciplined about your daily diet and also track it carefully.
I have seen its effect in digesting the food I eat. As I stated, my favorite time of consuming this tea is right before evening walk to help burn more calories and increase metabolism based on the information I gathered.
Throughout my journey, I never missed drinking my favorite cup of green tea and I have really seen its effect on my weight loss and even found myself more energetic while working out.
You will see it’s effect after you add in your diet. For first-timers, consuming this may be a little difficult because of its bitter taste but as you start drinking this tea for a few weeks you will not have problems and will feel very comfortable drinking.
